The leak detection system can used in all pneumatically driven diaphragm pumps and consists of a control module and 2 capacitative sensors.
The sensors are mounted behind the diaphragms (air side). When liquid is detected, a signal is transmitted to the control module that can then send various output signals to, for example, an electrically operated seal that can be closed or an alarm signal can be given.
