Characteristics
Vat pumps for thick liquids, such as fats and gels.
Special drum pumps with follower plate for extremely viscous liquids.
As standard, the worm pumps are made of stainless steel AISI 316 and, depending on the liquid to be pumped, different materials are available for the stator.
In terms of shaft seal, there is the choice between a traditional stuffing box packing or a mechanical seal.
The maximum speed depends on the viscosity of the liquid to be pumped. The higher the viscosity, the lower the speed should be.
