Aerators used in activated sludge tanks.
Tube aerators are mainly used in activated sludge tanks. Usually they are mounted on a grid that that can be lifted easily. The surface aeration is relatively high so the number of aerators required is limited.The housing of the aerators is made of polypropylene with a 3/4" female connection and an EPDM of silicone hose with thin narrow slots around. The hose aerators are usually assembled using stainless steel hollow connecting pieces with a 3/4" male connection on both sides and a ventilation opening in the middle that can be assembled into a stainless steel square profile of 80 x
