The seal used in DRB submersible pumps consists of a double mechanical seal in an oil bath. Both mechanical seals are made of Sic/Sic/Viton.
The 230 Volt version comes with a thermal cut out in the connector box that can be reset manually
The pumps can be supplied with or without a float switch.
