The excentric screw pumps are mainly used when the viscosity of the liquid to be pumped is higher than 500 m Pa.s. or if high pressures are required.
The screw pumps are all produced in stainless steel AISI 316 but the rotor casing can be supplied in various materials, depending on the liquids that need to be pumped.
With regard to mechanical seals there is a selection of traditional shaft sleeves or a mechanical seal.

The max. speed depends on the viscosity of the liquids that need to be pumped. The higher the viscosity, the lower the speed must be. The pumps therefore can be produced with various drives both electric and compressed air.
